Elk Grove, California to Osaka, Japan

On Tuesday, June 6, 2016, California Japan Scholars Program participants headed from Elk Grove to San Francisco for departure to Osaka, Japan. They spent the next sixteen days attending four different schools, including Izumi, Senri, Sano and Sumiyoshi senior high schools, and staying with host families in the Osaka area. During this time, they were completely immersed in Japanese culture and had opportunities to take part in many cultural and recreational activities.
