The Honorable Jerry Buttimer, Cathaoirleach of the Senate of Ireland and Mr. Michael Smith, Consul General of Ireland in San Francisco, visited Sacramento to celebrate Saint Patrick’s Day. The Cathaoirleach and Consul General were introduced on the Senate Floor by President Pro Tempore Mike McGuire and were presented with a resolution proclaiming March as Irish American Heritage month.
