 | August 18, 2025 His Excellency Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, The Honorable Muhammad Mubashir Khan, Deputy Consul General of Pakistan, were recognized on the floor by Senator Melissa Hurtado for the contributions of the Pakistani-American community in promoting Pakistan-U.S. relations. They also met with legislators and staff for a meet and greet. |

They met with President pro Tempore Mike McGuire, Senate Minority Leader Brian Jones, and Senator Josh Becker where they discussed issues important to the Japanese business community and the long-standing role of Japanese Americans in California. |
